Our retired UCCP DM Natividad Evangelista is related to Barangay Chairman Victor C. Ramos of San Juan, Maria Aurora, Aurora. 

So that early this year, together with their administrative pastor, Rev Jovito Vidal, our brothers and sisters in Christ comprising the local church of UCCP Marikit, Pantabangan, Nueva Ecija visited the said Barangay in Maria Aurora.  

UCCP Marikit is one of the local churches of the Northeast Nueva Ecija Associate Conference (NENEAC), Middle Luzon Jurisdiction (MLJ). 

After the warm welcome of the Barangay Chairman, a short worship service was conducted which thereafter led to the inauguration of a mission outreach composed of four families namely, Engalla, Rirao, Rivera and Panaglima.  

By the grace of our Lord, Sister Rosita Rirao donated her 350 sq.m. lot for the construction of a permanent house of our Lord.  In the meantime, bible studies and Sunday afternoon worship services are regularly conducted in the house of Sister Rosita’s sibling.

The need for the immediate construction of the church is felt with the success of Vacation Christian School (VCS) organized last May 20-23, 2026.  The UCM of the NENEAC responded to this calling which became this year’s mission ministry of the MLJ UCM and CWA.  The joint Executive Committees of MLJ UCM & CWA will be visiting the outreach in Maria Aurora on August 29, 2026 to share the blessings of God.
